Commissioned Helm.
it is all 14 ga polished mild steel
Brass work is all cut to form and yep, those are all real rivets in the trim and brim. For safety's sake the back is not articulated, but it is separate lames welded as it is to be used in combat. The Helm is based on a Turkish helm.

I wonder if you still do commissioned work for the SCA? if so how much does a piece like this run? I'm looking to make a persian helmet with an aventail and am curious. Thank you for any information in advance.
